SamBox I – Patent Pending Kydex Distro

The ALL NEW “SamBox” is a Non-Conductive Electrical Power Distribution / Distro Assembly (Patent Pending).  This is a Hybrid Distro Distro that combines all of the benefits of Kydex and Extruded Aluminum.  Kydex meets all UL VO94 ratings and is very durable and high impact resistant – used in tactical holsters, airplane interiors, buses and subways just to name a few applications of the material.  The top and the base are fastened with twenty-four screws, the walls are fastened via six screws (three on each side) with nylon locknuts.  This distro also uses all Hubbell devices and one hundred percent rated hydraulic breakers, four bottom rubber feet and a snapback carry handle.  All devices are recessed behind the vertical and horizontal line to prevent accidental damage during transportation and use.  This “SamBox” is built to UL1640 Standards and can be designed to any configuration allowed by UL1640.
